Save the Fold

Seven lost sheep. One shepherd boy. A sling, a crook, and a shout the wolves remember.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psalm 23:1 · A Psalm of David

Lead them home

Every sheep is worth going back for.

You are David, a shepherd boy with a long way to walk. Somewhere out past the hills, seven sheep have wandered off, and each one has a mind of its own. Find them, read them, and bring them back to the fold before the wolves do.

Every sheep you bring home teaches the fold a new song, and the soundtrack is woven fresh for you as you play.

The Flock

Seven sheep, seven problems.

No two of them listen the same way. Each sheep gets four stages of its own, and each one turns your tools into a different puzzle.

Portrait of the Lamb I

The Lamb

Comes when called and runs from danger. The gentle start of every shepherd's journey.

Learn the call
Portrait of the Glutton II

The Glutton

Head down, grazing constantly. Obeys, but always stops for one more mouthful.

Manage the pace
Portrait of the Sleeper III

The Sleeper

Dozes off anywhere, deaf to shouts and wolves alike. You will have to walk over and nudge it awake.

A wolf can walk right up to it
Portrait of the Fearful IV

The Fearful

Bolts at a distant wolf, a running shepherd, a shout landed too close. Sometimes straight toward danger.

The shout becomes a scalpel
Portrait of the Wanderer V

The Wanderer

Forever drifting off the path toward something more interesting. Usually a ledge.

Constant retrieval under pressure
Portrait of the Ram VI

The Ram

Spots a wolf and marches straight at it to snort and paw. All bluster. Bluster is not armor.

Break the standoff before the bluff is called

The Shepherd

Three things a shepherd boy has.

Wolves are lazy, hungry and easily embarrassed. Your job is to make every one of them decide this flock is not worth the trouble.

Sling

Stones at range. A stone to the backside sends a wolf yipping into the trees.

It yips and runs!

Shout

Calls the flock home and scatters the wolves. Too close, and the Fearful bolts.

Home.

Crook

Up close and final. Swing it hard enough and you may not get it back.

A sleeping wolf? Have mercy!

The Reckoning

Every stage is tallied.

Wolves bolted, wolves scared off, stones to the backside. Clear a stage without a drop of blood and the fold remembers. Climb from Hireling to Shepherd King.

The Jukebox

Every rescue teaches a song.

The soundtrack is not a playlist. Every song is woven from a seed for the level you are on, across genres with names like Ewephoria, Iron Crook and Polka in the Pen.

Heard one you love? Star it, keep it, and share its catalog code. A friend who types it in hears the very same song. Some genres never unlock at all; the only way in is a code.

The Memorial

In honor of the fallen.

Not every sheep makes it home. The ones that don't get a grave, an epitaph, and a place in the row. No sheep lost? Keep it that way.
